The soundgrove poles are located in an area designated as a "Parking Zone" by the City of Washington DC. These specially zoned areas of sidewalk space are made available specifically for public parks and art installations. The LEDs of HI FI serve as a beacon from the nearby corner. The LO REZ lightboard is visible beyond.
